Social Media and Rants
I think social media is one of the premier places we experience rants. I think this is due, in part, to the fact that in social media your audience typically consists of people who understand well your humor, background, and personality.

My favorite part of this discussion is the democratization of the rant. Beforehand, you had to be a Senator or Dennis Miller in order to have people notice to your rants. Now, any schmo with beef and a social media account can vent and rage. I love it! And I agree with Ben; there's more going on in the world than Cruise-gates. Kids are dying.
